Main Application

SPS-95 is a brightening agent used for copper electroplating, especially for acid copper baths for decorative and functional deposits, mainly serving industries of automotive parts and semiconductors ,such as plating on printed circuit boards (PCB), aiming to achieve different goals including changing appearance, preventing corrosion, or enhancing electrical conductivity. Copper layers deposited with SPS-95 are bright, levelled and ductile.

As a crucial material for fabrication of lithium-ion battery current collector, the properties of electrodeposited copper foil are closely related to the battery performances. SPS-CF is a novel additive for electrodeposition of high-quality copper foil from conventional acid copper sulfate bath, by using which could lead to a further improvement in the foil’s surface roughness, ductility and brightness.
