Feature

TL104 surfactant series is a multifunctional additive with wetting, defoaming and dispersing properties. TL104 Series are symmetric type non-ionic surface active agent, its unique twin chemical structure enables the product to lower surface tension, control bubble, reduce the water sensitivity coefficient etc, products can be applied to many industries, such as waterborne industrial coatings, waterborne wood coatings, water-based plastic paint,water-based ink, OPV, pressure sensitive adhesive, rubber paint, pigment and dye manufacturing, metal processing industry, flux, pesticide and so on.

Application

Water-based coating

TL-104 series of surfactant can solve many problems such as foam and difficulty to wet surface in coating formulations, especially in dynamic conditions to reduce dynamic surface tension, so it can increase wetting of oily or contaminated surfaces in high speeds praying, smearing and dip coating. lt can also reduce water sensitivity to improve the water resistance of the coating. At the same time, it has the function of defoaming and foam suppression, which can reduce or eliminate the usage of traditional defoamer.

Printing inks and Varnishing

TL-104 series of surfactant can be applied to high-speed printing presses to improve the wet leveling of inks and varnishes, improve adhesion to substrates, and reduce foaming caused by circulation

Dyes and Pigments

TL-104 series of surfactant control the generation of gas-induced bubbles during the production of dispersed pigments, and effectively eliminate dye spray drying and mixing foam caused by mechanical reasons. Another advantage of this product is that it can eliminate static electricity during spray drying and reduce viscosity for the back end usage.

Precautions for use

it is recommended to add emulsion or resin and other surfactant first, and then addTL-104 series surfactant to spread the at maximum speed into the system, full dispersion takes 15-30 minutes . a small amount of TL-104 surfactant will crystallize when transported or stored at very low temperatures, and will recover when heated slightly.
